Private Events
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, family celebrations — private events deserve the same care as any big production. I bring the same walk-in simplicity: confirm your date and venue, and I’ll handle the rest, from sound coordination with your venue to a smooth, guest-ready set.

Travel distances are measured one way from Toronto M5R via Google Maps. Where the venue is beyond 100 km and the booking is scheduled to finish after 11pm, the client arranges accommodation of no less than 3-star standard for the night of the event. All add-ons are quoted and settled before your event.
A 50% retainer secures your date. Balance and all add-ons are due 14 days before your event. A payment method is held on file solely to authorise any overtime agreed on the night.
How Booking Works
- I coordinate directly with your venue to confirm the sound system and DJ setup in advance.
- We plan everything in writing — music preferences, key moments and event details are confirmed before the day.
- I arrive early, connect and soundcheck — ready before your first guest walks in.
Meet Peter Styla
I’m Peter Styla, a Toronto-based professional DJ specialising in corporate events and private celebrations across Toronto and the GTA. South African-born, of Lebanese heritage and now proudly Canadian, I bring an international perspective to the dance floor. Before making Toronto home, I built and ran my own DJ and events business in Johannesburg, performing at thousands of events over more than 15 years, from major corporate functions to milestone celebrations. My approach is simple: read the room, find the moment and keep it moving. I work seamlessly with venues and their professional AV setups to deliver a streamlined walk-in DJ service, with a focus on great music, thoughtful preparation and the people in the room. Outside of events, I’m also a music producer, with original releases available on major streaming platforms.
